What's the problem?

1) Click on browse to select the image, then set the file type (defaults to image), you don't need to bother with the resize option, and finally click the UPLOAD NOW! button.

2) It will then show a small pop-up window into which you type the words displayed and click the UPLOAD NOW! button displayed there.

3) When it has finished uploading, click on Direct Link For Layouts to highlight that URL and use Ctrl-C to copy it onto the clipboard. You can then paste that link by using Ctrl-V wherever you want - if on AB then paste it into the answer box along with any text that you type (and not the Enter Youtube Link Here... box because the link won't be displayed properly)

A belated p.s. - when I posted that pic the popup asked a question and I had to select the answer from a dropdown list rather than having to type displayed words, so they now have a variety of ways of getting you to confirm that you aren't a robot.

I am trying to upload a photo to AB using my iPad but can't copy the link. Can you help, please?

Why can't you copy the link?

Having never used an iPad I'm not sure how you get it to do what a PC can do but (in case they help) here are the instructions when using good old-fashioned technology (i.e. a desktop PC!):

Upload your picture as above.

Right-click on the bottom link that appears, to highlight it. Select 'Copy'. Come to your post in AB, right-click where you want the link to appear ans select 'Paste'

When I click on/hold the link, it just sits and looks at me. I have tried the one for forums- should I try another one? Thanks.

I never usually have a problem with that, even from iPad. It's flippin' tinypic that's giving me hassle.
It says 'join now' but won't let me even do that. Upfed, upfed.

Press your finger on the link, remove it , then press again you will get the options

select--------- select all--------- paste

put your finger on 'select all'


You then get.

cut---- copy------paste----- suggest....

obviously select 'copy' by once again putting your finger on copy ........then paste here.

1.copy the image to Paint or whatever photo App you use.
2.Give it a file name
3. upload file to tinypic
4.complete tiny's code box
5. copy Tiny address (URL)
6.post URL in ABank question box
