can anyone advise on how to install a canon ES8600 camcorder onto computer, to enable me to transfer a video to computer then to disc please, thanks in advance

BUTTERBAN

This camcorder is only designed for Windows Xp Pro, there are no drivers out as yet for any other operating systems.
It should auto detect if you just plug in to fire wire card if you have one. use Windows movie maker to record the footage on to HD.
