Can anybody please help.....

Had a new process show 'Iface.exe'.......Now i'm a little confused.

A search of google shows this as a trojan (spelt in uppercase), yet the task manager showed it as part of my Panda AntiVirus (Capital I lower face.exe)?

Should Panda be infected of course it wouldn't show as a virus as it would already be in the program, but ran that,A Squared, symantec (PWSteal.tarno.B)  and Ad Aware...these too show nil.

So if this hasn't confused you too much...anybody who has Panda, is Iface for real....or why was it not detected and actually now isn't running (all my same windows are running)?

Any help appriciated.

Try booting your pc in safe mode disconnect from internet and run all means of removal. I.e scan disc and that symantec patch.
Hopefuly it will burn the little ******.

According to the Panda site, iface.exe is an interface programme that should always be allowed to connect to the internet.

If you're not happy, download and install for free AVG or AVAST. Thay are both good anti-virue progs.
