Screen Shifts To The Right

Occasionally when I start to use my computer after "sleep mode" the screen has shifted to the left leaving a third of the screen blank to the right. If I close the computer and re-start, it`s righted itself, any ideas why this happens?

Weird. Maybe a component on your graphics board is gradually failing ? If you have a spare board you could try it and see if the problem goes away.
