Nearly every web address I type into my browser comes back with the 'page not found' error, but if I the press refresh, the page appears ok.This has only been happening since I set up my wireless network. If I unplug the wireless router and go back to a wired set up,all web pages appear ok and I do not get this error.Any ideas would be most appreciated.

It could be a flaky signal. Try moving closer to the wireless router and see if it improves. Is it an 11b or 11g setup? 11b doesn't have as good a range as 11g so if moving closer sorts it, upgrading to 11g might be the solution.
this can happen if when u were setting up the wireless network you had either a firewall or anti-virus running. even in the system tray in the idle status. try reinstalling the wireless network and starting again, this time turning everything unnecessary off. also, i believe xp service pack 2 may have an impact on some service providers, but this is a low chance.
