'Protestors' at the G8

Have just seen on the news a hooded prick smash a window of a car that had absolutely nothing to do with the authorities - some poor sod is gonna come back to his/her car and see it trashed, just because one of these so called protestors has got the hump over something he probably knows absolutely F all about.

This 'rent-a-mob' mentality really gets on my tits - I have no problem whatsoever with genuine peaceful protestors, as they are exercising their rights, but the rest of them are just their for a bit of a ding dong.

They are sad sad pathetic scum bag losers, who, once the G8 is over, will go back to welching off this country - a country they seemingly despise, but is prepared to look after their worthless miserable existences.

So, I say let's send in the Tazers and night sticks on these witless cretins, and knock seven colours of sh1t out of them - and them bang them up, none of this 'bound over to keep the peace' rubbish.

100% in agreement with you.  Couldn't have put it better myself.  It looked to me like a group of kids just out to cause wanton damage.  It's about time adults regained control.....bring back corporal punishment.

thing is, it is not just kids that get involved with these anarchy groups, some are 30-50 years old. Ian Bone the leader of Class War is in his mid 50s.

I think it is jealousy not Anarchy! Duing the Poll Tax Riots there was a photo of 3 cars in London, the middle one was an old jalopy left completely unscratched while the 2 expensive cars on each side were completely trashed.

I'm with you ducati...just feel a little sorry for the majority of peaceful protesters, there for the right reasons only to see these anarchist morons hijack it, the same groups btw who daubed paint on the cenetaph and churchills statue a few years back.

Many of the people causing this damage belong to anarchist organisations such as black blok and come from various countries. Many are aged betweeen 15 and 24 and turn up for all the summits. I live in Sweden now (I'm Scottish). The Swedes were just as enraged when this group did the same thing when a summit was held in Gothenburg. They ripped up cobblestones from the roads, smashed up cars, shops etc. My husband (who is Swedish) is very impressed how the police have handled this in Scotland. These a$$holes have caused even worse devastation at other summits. Of course some local yobs always tag on because they've nothing better to do. I had the same reaction as you, Ducati, when I saw that guy trashing that car (he started by smashing the headlights and then smashed the window). Mindless cretins! I have great respect for the organised protesters but this group of yobs who don't even give any credible message about what they are protesting against makes me puke. Furthermore (now I'm really ranting) some members of this group try to sue the police for making them remove their masks as according to them this is a breach of their human rights. ********! The police on the other hand have to wear their numbers displayed on their uniforms and this group of yobs lodge complaints against the police quoting their names and numbers. Rant over! My heart went out to the owner of the car too, it was not an up market one, probably some poor working class body who could ill afford it.   I was also narked at the damage they were doing to that field of wheat.   They are so thoughtless, their "peace" has a hollow ring, but all this fades into insignificancy at the carnage and slaughter of innocent lives in London today.

trying living in stirling! at 6am the other morning they had laid down on the motorway trying to stop cars, police hadnt got there by then, it was shocking, lucky i was fully awake.....!!!!!!!!
