I have a Zoom MRS-4B multitrack recording studio, and it came with a 32mb smartmedia card. The files I have recorded go to the media card and now i have a reader to send it to my computer. On my computer i use Cool Edit Pro to mix my files, but the quality is horrible and does not sound anything like i recorded. How do I get the audio files from the Media caard to sound the way i recorded them?

how are you recording them? as mp3s? if so.. what bitrate and encoder are you using?

aim to use the lame encoder, with a bitrate of 128kbps or above. 32mb isn't a lot though, you'd fit about 7 average length (4mins or so) songs on it...
