Epson Printing Problem

My printer is playing up!
When downloading a crossword I am getting red coloured squares instead of black ones, though sometimes the squares are black.
And the clues are printed in black!
I have changed the cartridges: still the same.
Restored to factory settings: still the same.
Printer is an Epson C351C
Can anyone help, please?

Blocked heads seem the likely cause to me, have you carried out a "print test" and a "Head Clean" ?

Yes, Ratter, and realigned heads according to manual. Still the same!

Change the " NEW CARTRIDGE" It may be faulty.

I have replaced all the cartridges. Still the same.

I know it's still qute early so I hope the technical language isn't too much.

Maybe it's humped.

Ratter and TWR, I have cleaned printing heads again and it appears to be printing better. Not perfect, but better than it was. Manual says to leave it for six hours and try again, so that's what I'll do. Thank you for your help.

Update.
After leaving printer for several hours, as per instruction manual, I cleaned the printing head again, as instructed.
The printer is now working perfectly!
