I dropped a spectacle screw on the keyboard and its fallen in somewhere. Now I've got bits of this Dell lappy falling apart or becoming disjointed.

Would it be okay to use a magnet to locate the missing screw ?

would probably be more effective to to shut down the laptop and turn it upside down and shake it...

thanx chuck....that worked ;) Now how do I fit these loose bits in. On the lid right are green lights and the plastic covering (with teeth) has dropped out.
The pieces will probably just clip back in.

clipped it in wildwood thanx, but now the upper part of the base frame has come out :(

Under no circumstances take the keyboard apart...it will become about in 1000 pieces !

If it still working OK, then get a new screw !
