I had a great day out yesterday with friends who where celebrating big birthdays, anyhow took over 100 photos with fujifilm camera, and at one point i thought we had ran out of battery, i open the battery compartment and the put it back it and switched it on, now alll that comes up on the camera is "Card Not Initialized" I have even used a card reader to try and find the pics? is all lost?
would i be able to take the sd card to someone to retrieve them? this happened years ago and I lost pics, but was wondering if there is something that can be done?
Thanks

is it possible you have nudged the memory card out of place? Jiggle the parts about a bit, see if you get any joy.

Sorry I can't give a technical answer, but thats what I'd do!
