Sync Music From Computer To Mobile Phone

can anyone help i am trying to put music on my mobile phone it's a galaxy ace have pluged the devise in to usb it has installed but when i get the music list up and try to sync it just says add devise ,i can click on sync which highlights then when go to start sync nothing happens ,it must be something i am doing wrong not good at doing anything technical lol many thanks for reading

I'm guessing that you need to tell the Sync Program which devices it is that you want to compare.
Could you say what software it is that you are using?
