I'm curious to know why you wish to reset to factory condition.

I reset a Dell laptop to factory condition prior to giving my 'throw-out' to a niece. It was fairly straightforward but took-up a considerable amount of time. Just to reload all of the Windows up-dates, which were required, took up the best part of two evenings.
