I have a Latin - English English - Latin dictionary for my law studies. I never found translation sites much good for Latin in particular.
Do you need a lot of translation? Could obviously post it on AB if you're willing to type it

Good call pixie but unless someone on here is fluent in Latin getting an accurate translation would be a bit of a lottery. Too many idioms, declensions and inflections to worry about when it comes to getting an accurate translation.
Is there a Solicitors nearby? Someone there trained in 'old school' legal training should be able to help, and if they enjoy it they might not even charge !!! (small hope).
Yes, that's true. I have A-level, but many years ago and there are certainly many more who may be able to help. The advantage on here is that people will agree or disagree with each other, which you won't get with translation sites. I'm sorry, i can't help with which forums to use

You have an A level in Latin pixie?
LOL - strictly speaking, in Latin, you should be asking about "fora".
Lots of us remember some Latin from our school days - give us a go, crafty!
come on Crafty, we like a challenge. :-)
Question Author
But which fora are you referring to boxtops haha.

fora
nominative plural of forum
accusative plural of forum
vocative plural of forum
Yes. But 20 years ago!
Nominative plural
My prediction is that craftypig will post something in Latin and there'll be complete silence.... Lol

Ok here is an example of sentences I want "accurately" translating from English to Latin, by the way its not for a cheesy tattoo that I'm thinking of having done either.

"Boldness is the quality that allows you to shed your doubts, your hesitations, your ego, your shame, your hesitancy and your ego"
so far I've only got to

Temeritus est species ut sino

arrrrgg!!!
The sentence will probably have to be reconstructed to fit Latin construct, e.g.

the quality which allows you to shed your doubts, your hesitations, your ego, your shame, your hesitancy and your ego, is boldness (temeritus est)
Question Author
How much of the actual sentence is that alba?
all I've managed is 'Boldness is without'

am working on it, but has been a few decades :-)
Question Author
As boxtops said maybe something of a sentence reconstruction might be in order?
She's put "boldness is the quality that allows...
incerti is nom plural for doubts,
superbus is pride,

am still trying to remember. Was hoping it would be Latin to English! The word order doesn't matter in Latin
