Olympus Tough 6010 Beeping & No Power

I have a Olympus tough and today i took it in the swimming pool taking videos. It was switched off and left to dry on the lounger, however when I have come to turn it on the shutter is open, screen is black and when I press the on/off button it beeps a number of times and then does nothing. There is an orange light on, so have tried to charge and light is blue meaning it is fully charged!!!!is the camera having an off day and I need to wait or is it dead and time to buy a new one.......

Was it left in full sun, it may have overheated, try leaving it somewhere cool-ish for a while and then pull the battery to reset it and see what happens.
