A Question For Buenchico

Having followed your oft repeated recommendation on AB, I have now set myself up with a GMX email account.
With all your undoubted expertise on this subject I was wondering if you have a contact address for anyone in authority at GMX so that I can enquire how the "alternate email" procedure actually works.
When I have sent or received one email, do I then have to use a different email address for my next message?
Or is this just plain ignorance on the part of the GMX founding fathers and what they are really trying to say is "alternative email"?
If so, I am very disappointed by their lack of professionalism.
