i ordered this satnav
Garmin Nuvi 3590LMT 5"

It has arrived but the number on the back of the unit is 3590LM

The T is missing

Does this mean I have been sent the wrong model? A lesser one?

What does the LMT mean?

Thanks

Have you checked on the Garmion website, there are so many variations and some suppliers have their own model codes available only through them.
A bit of web searching suggests that the satnav on its own is always simply the 3590LM. (So that's what it will always have on it).

However when it's packaged with a cable that can be connected to it for better reception in low-signal areas, the package is sold as 3590LMT. (i.e. the 'T' simply means that the cable is in the box).
