Insufficient Storage

I have 8gb microsd card but still get told 'Insufficient storage' when updating apps on my Huawei U8815 android phone. How do I solve this? Many thanks for all answers.

Possibly because your apps are not being stored on your SD card but on your phones internal storage. Go through all your apps and delete the ones you dont use or need.

If it's anything like my Galaxy Ace, all your Internet browsing, Twitter pics, etc gets stored on the phone and not the SD card and that can soon add up. Drives me nuts.
