On my lap top under 'systems and security' it shows the following -
Spyware and unwanted software protection ON
- Microsoft Security Essentials reports that it is turned on
- View installed antispyware programs
When you click into ' view installed antispyware programs ' it says the following -
Microsoft security essentials ON
Windows defender OFF
My question is - what is windows defender ?
When you click on it it briefly says ' out of date '
