It sounds like you haven't downloaded it (its not on your ipad), instead you are streaming it (film stays on the internet and is sent to your ipad bit by bit) are you SURE you have actually downloaded it?
Question Author
Thanks for reply yes I have actually watched it on my iPad in house
If you have downloaded it without specifying which folder it is saved in then it will most likely be in the 'downloads' folder which you should find in 'my computer'. This assumes that you downloaded it to a computer.
To download Sky programmes/films you will need the Sky Go Extra pack

I think you might have to pay a bit extra for it, what you're doing indoors at the moment is as woofgang says, steaming, the data isn't stored anywhere on your device.
wendilla, the fact that you have watched it on your ipad, doesn't mean that it is on your ipad. Streaming delivers the film to your ipad but doesn't leave it on there...its like watching a vid on youtube.
Question Author
Many thanks all for that information .
Yes, you do need to pay £5 for Sky Go Extra to watch downloaded things on IPad.
Question Author
Thank you for your reply .Yes I have been through sky and found that out don't think it is worth bothering with as I just wanted to watch things while waiting at school but will just continue with my solitaire.
Wendilla if you want a good game to play try The Room and The Room 2, they're about 69p each and are very addictive. You have to use clues to find more clues to get out of The Room.
Question Author
thanks Rocky will have a look at that .
If you enjoyed "the room and room 2" which i did immensely take a look at a game called "Device 6". It is bizarre but in a really good way, another of my favourites so far on iPad.
Question Author
Not had time he to try the room but will have a look at that one too . Thanks
Thanks for that UKSWF, looks to be right up my street. :)
wendilla you can download from iplayer to watch on your ipad for free
Question Author
Yes woofgang I have done that bit but what I wanted was could I watch that download while I was waiting at school in car where there is no wifi . But to do that it is £5 a month so shan't bother not worth it . I have the games I can play. Thanks anyway.
the iplayer (bbc) app is free and nothing to do with sky. you get the app at the app store and can download bbc stuff onto your ipad. I have just tested this and it works.
Question Author
Yes I do have the bbci player. The only thing I cant do is watch the film I download while waiting at the school. I can watch it at home where I have wi fi but not at the school.
that's odd, I just downloaded last night's Death in Paradise and watched it with my wifi and data connection turned off. It only works with BBC stuff but it does work anywhere.
can you try using iplayer and download something else other than the film? it has to be a bbc program.
...yup, I just tried again in airplane (no data connection) mode and it STILL works.
You haven't downloaded that film, which is why it won't work with that, try it with a bbc program.
