go to www.tripod.com , and sign up  , it leads you into thinking you need to pay , but when u get to the option to choose what account you have , its near the bottem , small writing , saying press here for a free website ... its so simple to use

www.piczo.com for informal websites, the best thing to do is get yourself a copy of dreamweaver and paste the coding into freewebs or bravenet or any others and then you can have the website exactly how you want it. -This does require some IT skills though!
