Have just resolved My downloading problem by upgrading to Netscape8 Having diffulty now setting up non netscfape emaill Any help or tips gratefully received

install mozilla firefox for web browsing and mozilla thunderbird for email.

Couldn't agree more with fo3nix. Netscape invades privacy and is heavy with unneeded baggage. Fireox/TBird are fast and reliable, plus, using extensions and themes you can make them look, feel and behave exactly how you like.
One thing only. Make sure you get the "View in IE" extension as maybe 0.5% of commercial sites won't render properly in FF. This extension allows you to transfer the page to Internet Explorer with a right-click.

Thunderbird will pick up any pop3 mailbox [I'm not sure, sorry, if netscape is pop3 but almost everything is}.
From the TB tool menu, select "account settings". Bottom left is an "Add Account" button. Complete the wizard. [With luck, you should find the setting somewhere in Netscape mail's menus].
