If you haven't already done it the windows way, here's how. Click the My Bluetooth Places icon on the desk top. With your phone set to 'shown to all' pair your phone with the computer by selecting View Devices in Range. When its found your phone, right click on it and select 'pair with device'. Make up your own PIN, and your phone will also ask you for the same PIN. With them paired, select your phone and click to open it. This goes into the services menu. Click Discover Services. One of the services should be OBEX File Transfer. Open this. Keep an eye on your phone as you are now trying to explore the phone itself and it may require you to accept. You will now find all the folders on your phone. Its a simple operation to cut and paste mp3, pictures, etc to the relevant folders. You can even paste directly to the Multi-Media Card.
If this is the way you are doing it, there may be a shortage of memory on your phone. If you're using the mp3 files for ringtones its worth noting that the 6230i only plays 20 seconds of the file before going to the answer phone. I usually cut the mp3 file down to the 20 seconds I want then download it to the phone.
That's about all I know I'm afraid. I'm pretty sure when I had the 'unable to open file' error message it was either because the file was the wrong format or my phone ran out of memory.
You can download games for the 6230i but at the moment they are for slightly older Nokia phones, like the 6230. The difference being the screen resolution, 6230 has 128x128 pixels, the 6230i has 208x208 pixels. As yet there aren't any/very many games for Nokia phones with the new screens. I have Monopoly on my 6230i which I dowloaded as a 6230 game, it uses only a corner of the screen and is pap.
