Hi all , I do apologies but only putting the first sentence. No it wasnt about the Chromcast but a general...has anyone else got one? question. But thankyou for replies.
I've got an Xperia S. I don't know how much they differ ... maybe I could help ??

Thankyou. I have had a page up asking if I want Vodofone protection or not.? I would have that you would wouldnt you?
I'm with Vodafone as well and I don't recall being asked if I wanted it.
If you do decide to accept it, make sure it's the real deal and make sure it's free.
I installed AVG for free on my Xperia. I'm assuming that "Vodafone protection" is some kind of virus protection ??

oKthankyou. I did accept it as didnt know how to get rid of it but will go onto vodofone help line and ask them if there is a charge.
Vodafone Protect is free, you can pay to get advanced features not sure how much it is.

In my opinion it's not a very good or efficient app and you can get free apps that do a better job

OK Thats great thankyou. I am still trying to get used to it. You know when you are at home and it is on wifi with your own internet. Is there anything I have to do when in the car and want to turn the map on for directions.?
Assuming you've got internet on your monthly allowance, you shouldn't have to do anything.
If you try sand access maps whilst at home (or anything else that uses the internet), it'll do so via your Wi-Fi (assuming you've got it set up properly).
Once you're out of range of your Wi-Fi. it'll automatically reconnect to the internet via your provider, Vodafone.

Many thanks again...I have got internet in my monthly package so it should be fine...will just have to play with all of it until I get used to it. Hope I do not need to bother you again.
.... no bother - that's why we're all here, to help each other, where and when we can :)
