with rubbish onthem
is is possible to buy a gadget to erase them
or can i do it .on line

If they're commercial DVDs there's nothing you can do with them.

If they're DVD-R or DVD+R there's nothing you can do with them.

If they're DVD-RW or DVD+RW you can re-format them with you own pc.

....just to explain...the RW means re-writeable...that is, you can re-use. Otherwise...no good!

If I have a DVD-R of DVD+R that I have data on that I no longer want then I cut them up with sturdy scissors and throw the parts in the bin.

You cannot erase the data from them.
