Security Tags.

I'm beginning to think that half of them are fake.

Today wasn't the first time I arrived home with a security tag still attached to my purchase.

Each time i've returned them , to a different store each time as luck would have it, they haven't triggered when i've gone back in.

Blooming nuisance...they can't be forcibly removed without damage.

Anyone know if they are only now used as deterrents and it's the luck of the draw if you get an active one?

Mrs JtH and I went shopping today.
We arrived back home earlier than anticipated with her in a bit of a bad mood because our first purchases (at a store on the other side of town) set off every single alarm in the shops we went into subsequently.......despite having let us leave the shop where they were bought. LoL

Years ago, I worked for awhile in a plastics plant. One of our products was the things that you walk between when exiting the store...There was absolutely nothing inside them: they were fake!. Another product was camera housings for school buses. Again, there was nothing inside them: they were just a plastic box with a lens on front!

JTH...I feel Mrs JTHs' annoyance...i'm not sure if any other store can remove the tag.I left my shopping in the car so thankfully didn't trigger random alarms...the >>>look at me, i'm a thief

stuey !! I suspected as much ! Thanks for verifying it. It's the first time it's 'clicked' with me that they were mostly fake !
