Google Chrome Update.

I keep getting a pop up page saying that I am browsing with Google chrome and my video player might be outdated and asking me to update.
I thought Chrome automatically updated.
Does anyone know if this some kind of scam?

It could be a scam.

Get yourself a decent browser such as Firefox. Anything except Chrome which tracks your every move and will throw up all sorts of unwanted adverts and pop-ups. There is a choice of Browsers in the following link :-

I am concerned about the negative comments re Chrome. I have been using it for three years now and have had no problems whatsoever. The difference in speed is noticeable.
