Stamp Collecting
5 Answers
Having returned to my NZ collection abandoned c 1950 I'm very rusty on some topics and welcome help.
I used to use benzine ad lib but the easiest obtainable substitute is said to be Ronsonal. Lighter fluid used to be discouraged as it was slightly greasy. All I can get locally is Swan brand fluid. is this OK?
Will it get self-adhesives off paper?
Any comments on the 'morality' of buying an envelope and appropriate stamp, self-addressing it but before dispatch sticking on it some of the numerous stamps which have arrived on envelopes over the years without being franked.
May need co-operation of the PO to ensure the old ones are properly franked.
I'd like to be in touch with anyone with knowledge of NZ stamps.
