I seem to have lost my freeview progs on it. I use Humax freeview so can watch with that of course but for some reason I can only get the HD ones with the TV, the rest are just blank when I try. I am sure it is just something stupid I have done but can't sort it out at all. TIA rosy
Speaking from a position of almost total ignorance, don't the HD ones come via your internet link and the rest from the aerial ? In which case I'd suspect the aerial connections/lead. I take it your neighbours are not having issues with the transmitter.
Thank you for replying OG I thought they all came from the aerial until I switch to freeview. No problems with transmitter that I know of.Can't fiddle about with it at the moment as mr posy is watching the snooker (on freeview of course :0)
I just say that, not that I really know, because when I didn't connect to the router the channels were not available. (But perversely when I did connect a cable to from the router to the freeview box the freeview box would crash on accessing the HD channel !)
Thanks again OG I can't understand what has happened really, nothing has been changed since it was set up over a year ago when we changed to BT, it has worked really well. I suppose we don't really need it but would just like to know why it has gone peculiar. :o(
Thank you for that ladybirder, I update the progs from time to time but have never done a retune, to be honest i wouldn't know where to begin. Why oh why don't you get instruction books these days with stuff. Can you give me an idea then as it seems it might be the way to go -rosy
Much the same. When you check for channels you can either start from scratch or simply look for new ones. Always best to start from scratch or your channels may end up allocated to the wrong channel number. Different menus use different description but reset to factory or something like that. Worth a try.
