And when on wifi do you use up the allowance? Is 100mb data too little?

There are cheaper tablets than an iPad. If that's all you want it for, have a look at the Tesco Hudl tablet, no contract, wifi only. http://www.tesco.com/direct/hudl/ Or look at Amazon's Kindle for £69 Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation If you need a phone, what exactly will you be doing with it?

You shouldn't use the allowance when you are using wifi but in my opinion 100mb is too little.

The cashback deal looks a bit of a faff, too.

The real question is - if you use a phone so sparingly why do you want/need an iPhone? You won't be using it to its full potential and there are cheaper phones out there.

hc4361, is there any cheaper phone you'd recommend?
The room where I have my computer isn't available in the evenings. I was thinking of getting a phone to look in on AB.
How about an ipad, if you have wifi, Sandy?

I don't really need a phone. The Hudl looks good. I'll order one of them.
It has consistently good reviews.
