Google search is no longer available on FireFox apparently, what should one replace it with, and how does one make that one's default search engine, and get it to open up on each opened tab??

Still shown on my FIrefox
As far as I know google will not be the default search engine but it can still be enabled if you want to carry on using it.
It's still working for me - click the small magnifying glass in the search box, then "Change Search Settings" to set which search engine/s you want available & to set your default.
Im still using Google search on Firefox.
Just set Google (google.co.uk) as your home page then Google search it is always available.
