I-Tunes
Can anyone help with an iTunes query. I have a laptop with a great deal of music within I-tunes, which is synced with an iphone and ipad. all of the music has been loaded onto the laptop from cd's, an enterprise which took hours. I am now looking to getting another laptop and scrapping this, as it is reaching the end of its life. about a year ago, I had to take it back to factory settings as I had a Trojan. obviously the iTunes programme was removed, but I downloaded it again. I found that when I logged into my account, the music was missing, but I thought I had probably done something wrong. when I get rid of this laptop and get another, what can I do to make sure the music I have is transferred to the new laptop. will uploading it to I-cloud mean that it is there for me, whichever laptop I am using. I don't use cloud based programmes as I am not sure I trust my precious stuff to somewhere I cant see it!! I am prepared to risk the music as I still have the cd's although it would be a pain to have to load them all on again. I would have thought that when you open your iTunes account and it is all there, why it isn't there wherever iTunes account is opened. is that too simple. is anything I-tunes related simple?? none of the music is purchased by the way, that at least does seem to follow the account around
