Uninstall Opera Mini

Came to check my emails on my Nokia Asha 302 this morning and an update was available,which I did,Now I have Opera Mini which is terrible cannot get to my emails...how can I uninstall it?

I have found out that it has its own OS called S40. I'm sorry but I have no idea how to use it.

Is Opera Mini in a list of installed apps that you can uninstall?

no.I came to check my emails this morning and there was an update ready(have done this in the past),so downloaded it...result Opera Mini.Can get my Outlook Hotmail emails and surf the net but whilst I can get onto the Virgin website OK,can`t get my emails.

Hope somebody can help you soon. If you have a Virgin sim card I suggest you contact Virgin for advice.

Had a long chat with them this morning which did not solve the issue.
While I do not regularly check my emails by phone,do not like the fact that I can`t now.Hate having something that does not work properly.
I would like to get rid of the darned thing!!
If I bought another phone(the same)would it already be Opera Mini,or is it cos it was an update?

There may be a workaround. Can you get your virgin emails via hotmail as you can with GMail?
