McAfee Antivirus have emailed me to say that they have renewed my subscription of £39.99 - I never said they could and I certainly don't want to pay that price. I looked in my bank account and at the moment they haven't taken it out but I suspect it will be out tomorrow.
It says in email if you want to cancel go into MY ACCOUNT (which I cannot find) anybody help me please.

You may not have noticed it but it is probably there somewhere.
btw You say McAfee Anti Virus but I assume you mean McAfee Internet Security. You should not be paying anything JUST for anti virus.

I looked at the wee ICON mcAfee - and amongst other things
it is SUBSCRIPTION Active - but I know this will run out on 20 June - which give me time to get another antivirus. It is getting this one out so to speak

You can cancel your subscription by turning auto-renew off from your My Account page. If you purchased a monthly subscription, canceling the monthly subscription will stop the recurring fee going forward, and you will have access to your subscription until your last payment expires. Canceling your monthly subscription will not retroactively refund subscription payments, and previously charged subscription fees cannot be pro-rated based on cancelation date. If you purchased a subscription of one year or longer and you are not satisfied with your McAfee software, you can request a full refund within 60 days of this renewal notice. I don't know where MY ACCOUNT IS

http:// service .mcafee .com/Lo caleSel ect.asp x?sg=CS &pt =1& st=CHAT
Which gives you a link to chat with a customer service assistant online
By phone 0800 028 7581 is their customer service tel no
Either one of them and give info of what you would like ( the renewal not to take place and no money taken out ) and they will hopefully sort it out for you. They may give a password to get into MY ACCOUNT and you can do it from there
Good luck, conne x
