Please can someone tell me how to unzip a file? (simple terms really appreciated!)

If you are running Windows98/Me then you will need something like winzip, available from www.download.com, just search for winzip.

If you are running Windows XP, then you don't need further software, just right click on the zipped file and select extract from the menu.

there are also other compressed file formats, other than ZIP. Such example is RAR.

7 Zip is a free program for extracting and compressing files into many different formats. May be of use to you :)
