6 Answers
im on firefox, windows 10 asus x550c
whenever i scroll down on firefox, it seems to 'stick' and scroll numerous pages - until i move the cursor away - its driving me mad
it also does it when i am in windows explorer just scrolling through pics etc
to my knowledge the cursor is set to only scroll 1 place, in settings
what can this be?
how can i stop it, its very annoying, having to keep going back

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.It might help us to work out what's going on if you tell us how you're attempting to scroll down:
Are you clicking within the web page and then using the scroll bar part of your touchpad?
OR
Are you click-and-dragging the scroll bar on the web page downwards?
OR
Are you using the 'Page Down' key?
OR
Are you using the 'Down arrow' key?
OR
Have you got a mouse plugged in, so that you can use a scroll wheel?
(Until we get the problem sorted out, you might like to try an alternative method, from the list above, anyway. It might help to ease your frustration!)

I forgot about that one!
The ASUS website suggests that, in order to achieve full touchpad functionality after installing W10, you should update the ASUS Smart Gesture driver by using this download:
http:// dlcdnet .asus.c om/pub/ ASUS/nb /Apps_f or_Win1 0/Smart Gesture /SmartG esture_ WIN10_6 4_VER40 5.zip
(I note that it's a zip file. Depending upon the type, double-clicking on it might both unzip it and start the installation process or simply unzip it; if that happens you'll need to again double-click on the resulting setup file. Remember that you usually need to restart your computer in order for a new driver to take effect)
