I have downloaded some of my CD's onto my IPod. Some of my CD's play continuous music, i.e each track runs into the next one. But when I play this back on my IPod, you can hear a break between each track instead of a continuous transition. Has anyone else noticed this and is there a way around this? Thanks.

Yes, I've noticed it and no - you can't do anything about it - The only thing you can do is link the tracks with iTunes before importing -Unfortunately, the tracks that are linked will be one track and not individual tracks.
I don't know if this will be any help but if you go into the Edit menu in iTunes, then select Preferences and click the Audio tab there is an option called Crossfade Playback.  I assume this allows you to decide how big a gap you have between songs but I've never used it so I'm not certain.
