Duel Internet connection

Is there anyway that i can have 2 computers using my current braodband connection. the computers are in seperate locations in the house and not connected at the current time only only 1 phone socket is available.

Will i be able to run both conections at the same time without losing speed or stability

you need to use internet connection sharing and/or a router (wired or wireless).

Yep, the connection from the phone line goes into the router (a box that u buy) and it then splits it up so that u can either have the 2 (or more) computers connected via cables to this router box, or it is wireless so that 1 or both of your computers can be anywhere within about 50ft give or take of the router box but wont need a cable to attach it. The wireless part is that the router sends the broadband via radiowave (or something like that) and the computer picks it up and is in effect a invisable cable that stretches approx 50ft through rooms and sometimes gardens too. For this to happen u need to buy a Router that is wireless enabled (most are now) and also a wireless network card that installs into the Laptop or Desktop (depending which it is for) to receive the signal. If both computers are to be wireless u will need a network card for each computer but only the one router. Most shops such as PC World will be able to advise u although dont go for the most expensive they suggest as they are on commision, merely ask them to show u what u will need.
