Htc One Phone Keeps Restarting After Update.

Hi Everyone.
My phone was working perfectly until I done an update earlier today. As soon as the update had finished my phone started behaving weirdly. It won't stop restarting again and again and again. Sometimes it will freeze first, before restarting. I have tried everything I can think of. Any Idea what's happened, and how I can fix it?
I am a bit suspicious of the fact that my two year contract is now up and I've changed to a cheaper sim only deal. Could they have sent me this update to destroy my phone so I have to buy a new one?

Cheers Fender, but I don't think it will even allow me to do that. It won't stay on long enough to do it. Anyway, I don't really want to lose my photo's.

If not already tried, is it possible to remove the battery for a short time and then refit to see if that helps.
