This was sent to a 'bin' called 'Removed applications' when I followed advice given to correct an error. How do I retrieve this? I need Word at times.

I upgraded to W10 a few weeks ago and it's taking a time getting to know it, but I must have made a mistake when downloading something and could not then have access to a lot of things. I was advised to 'restore' but a lot of apps went into this place c Removed applications, it's similar to the recycle bin. Word is not in the recycle bin, I just checked.
A few questions to clarify and a few suggestion, hopefully not too complicated!:-
Was Microsoft Word / Office already installed before you upgraded to Windows 10 or installed after the upgrade?
When you restored recently, was it at that point it removed some applications and informed you that it had moved them to 'Removed Applications'
Have you checked on your C: drive to see if a Folder called 'Removed Applications' exists?'
If you are still unable to find anything there, try:-
- 'RIGHT-Click' 'Windows Start' icon and select 'Search'. In the search box enter WORD. (include the dot). If it displays 'Microsoft Word' at the top of list click to see if it runs Microsoft Word.
Else, try:
- Click 'Windows Start' icon and select 'All Apps' and scroll through the list to see if 'Microsoft Office' exists, if so click it and check if 'Microsoft Word' is listed.
Another option is to consider attempting to undo the recent system restore that I assume you carried out. Not sure if this will work but try:
- RIGHT-Click 'Windows Start' icon (bottom left-hand corner of screen)
- Select 'System'
- Select 'System Protection'
- Select 'System Restore'
- Does it display an option 'Undo System Restore' ? If so, selecting that option will attempt to undo the previous system restore, at which point if it is successful it may have restored your missing Apps such as Microsoft Word.
