I might have missed a trick here but I could have sworn that up until about a week ago and an android update I could turn off mobile data usage per app via Settings > Data Usage....each app had a tick box to selectively pick apps that would only use wifi eg, Blue mail and FB I turned off as they were swallowing my data.......ive just noticed today that facility has gone and its now either all on or off...
Is that the case or is it now hidden somewhere else ?
Which version of Android are you on?
In Android 6 (Marshmallow)
You go to Settings/Apps then tap the app.
Then tap Data usage
There's a switch "Restrict app background data"
I uninstalled the FB app, and just access FB through Chrome, as I got fed up with:
High memory usage
High processor usage
Messages every time someone liked something I'd posted.
Thats what i now have to do, but as I said in my OP previously about a week or so ago I could do it from the same page on an app by app basis...frikken useless updates...
