Where and how within my computer would I get to find out what version of Windows 7 I have, whether Home or Professional?...as simple as possible, please. Ta Muchly.

I think if you put your cursor on the space on the desktop, then right click, you should see an options saying 'system' - inside that option it should say. Also sometimes if a laptop, turn it upside down, there may be a label with the relevant info.

Click the 'Start' button.

Right-click on 'Computer'.

Select 'Properties'
Try .... Start ..control panel .. system and security .. system ..
It will show there
My guess it is almost certainly Home.
In the bottom left of the screen
Type RUN
then Type WINVER press enter.
This brings up the System box showing the Windows Version,

Sorry for the delay guys, I had to wait till I got someone who could use a mouse, I can't.
We went via the control panel etc route and it is Windows 7 Professional.
