Help! I am part way typing an important email and the typing has changed to italics. It doesn't look very professional.
Can anyone advise me how to change it back to normal type please.

I've no idea what email service you are using but try highlighting your email and then pressing Ctrl and i together

Top of your screen should be a line of little boxes B-I-U; B for bold; I for italics, U for underline. Click on the I to revert to normal type.

Thanks for that hc4361. I have another problem. I saved the document in case anything went wrong. It is now frozen. The egg timer thingy is just there in jet black. Email box has emptied just leaving an empty box frame over the document.

By the way I am using my iPad now to ask questions. I think I might have to switch laptop off to unfreeze it.

What do you use for your emails? Gmail? Outlook? What?

I use outlook express.
