Yahoo Email Problem.

Can anyone explain why, when I reply to an email, the reply (my reply) comes back to me in my inbox.
The title of the email has the person's name with 'me' written after it.

eg. 'Catherine, me'

Thus, when I open that email, it has my message to Catherine. ??????

I'm assuming the 'me' is your own email address, Tilly

Have you selected "All Mail" or something similar as a view on your mailbox rather than just the Inbox, so it shows sent items as well?

My understanding, Psybbo, is that there is no 'me' appearing as a recipient when she sends her email- it only appears when she receives a copy of her reply

I now have a string of email messages from Catherine and myself (my replies) in a list.

That said, my Gmail on my phone does that with a running email trail with my Mum.

Begin a new email with only Catherine as the recipient and sent a test one.

Maybe emails are being grouped together as "conversations". Do you see both yours and Catherine's comments?
Just looked at my yahoo...same as yours by the sound of it. Has been like that for a while.
Don't see it as a problem though....

Maybe Catherine has selected 'reply to all' at the start of the thread and this causes all recipients to get copies of their own replies.
Anyway, I agree with Psybbo's suggestion.

That's what mine is like, Pasta. It has been like that for a while, as you say. It's only a problem because I think I have new emails but actually they are my emails, coming back to me.

Yes, I can see the whole string of the conversation that I've had with Catherine, or anyone else. Maybe I should count it as a blessing rather than a problem. :-)
