How the heck do I stop them popping up? I've got AVG thingy and I'm not very technical, as you may have gathered, but...every now and then(like a couple of times or more daily, msn closes up on me, other programmes keep running. When I sign in again to msn there is always this bloomin screensaver, or this other msn thing that says I'm the millionth whatever..it's really bugging me, and I'd like to try and sort it without having to ask hubby (just  to save the usual argument about me downloading allsorts... the Basset!!)

Go to download.com and download 'adaware' by lavasoft. It should sort those nasty adware programs and spyware stuff. Run it every week - it's a freebie so it doesn't come with the automated scheduler!
