I switch to Airplane mode overnight and enjoy 48 hours between charges.

Personally i charge my phone overnight, ideal time to do it.

Because cordless landline phones are plugged in all the time in order to keep their batteries charged you may well like to keep your iPhone on charge every night & when you are not using it. It will not harm it, the back emf will switch the supply off when the battery is fully charged.
