Tagging Photos In Windows 10
7 Answers
Can anyone out there please explain in simple English - because I am a bit thick - how to tag photos in Windows 10. It was so easy when we used Window 8 but now I can do nothing. I have tried watching a YouTube video but the guy on there seems to have a different layout to me. Or maybe someone could recommend an app that would do the job. Many thanks.

I was able to do this in Windows 8. The infomation would then come up beside the photo. When your memory begins to fade you need all the help you can get and I have hundreds of photos of grandchildren, great-grandchildren etc.
I do it by having a folder for each day, labelled yy-mm-dd eg, 16-04-07 Blackpool. I name all the pictures in the folder to be eg, Fred & Gladys on beach. A second picture of Fred & Gladys would be Fred & Gladys on beach (2).
That way you can "search" all your photos for pictures of Gladys or Blackpool and they will come up in date order.
