internet explorer font

when i loaded my laptop up this morning i noticed when i went on to internet explorer that the text had changed and gone italic like and bold an now its pretty hard to read.

is it possible to change it back to the default font?

Sounds like a registry error. Run System Restore and do a full virus scan.
