When I got my HTC there was no manual with it. I wanted to lock my sim with a pin number but don't know what the default number is. Has anyone had this problem and sorted it? TIA.

It might help us to know the model number of the phone.

Addendum:
Having just done a bit of googling, it looks as if the default PIN is actually allocated by the service provider. In which case we'll need to know which provider you're with. (EE and Orange use 1111. T-Mobile uses 1210. Vodafone uses 0000).

The default PIN for a Tesco Mobile SIM should be 5555.
