Internet Cutting Out.
6 Answers
Something really strange happening. I can use my iPad anytime day or night no problems. But when I put laptop on in the evening about an hour and the Internet cuts off. It cuts broadband off causing hub light to flash. If I shut down laptop wait awhile broadband comes back on. Just narrowed it down to this been happening for a few weeks. Could problem be with laptop that causes hub to flash? Only ever happens when it is on.

Click 'Start'
Type 'cmd' into the box.
In the results which will appear above it (under 'Programs'), right-click on 'cmd' and select 'Run as administrator).
In the window which appears, type the following line:
netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt
Press 'Enter'
You'll see a message telling you that you need to restart your computer to complete the action. (It can take a few seconds for the message to appear).
Follow that instruction.

All electrical equipment generates radio waves, which can interfere with other services. My guess is that your mains charger is causing interference to your wifi signal. The solution might be to change the frequency which your router is using. Make and model, please?
Last minute thought: Since you refer to a 'hub', rather than a router, you might be using a BT HomeHub. If so forget about providing the make amd model and go directly to here:

(Try the 'refresh channels' bit ahead of manually choosing a different channel).
