Can't Block Spam Emails

Help needed please..

I have been getting some spam emails on my Hotmail account,for a few days now. They going into my junk folder, but when I try to block the sender emails its telling me they are from myself..as in my own Hotmail address and cannot be blocked.

How on earth does one get round that one..please.

Simply put: You can't.
It's possible to "spoof" the sender address of any e-mail, so it's a common ploy to make the sender address equivalent to the recipient address in spam emails.
As they are going straight to your junk folder anyway, it hardly matters that you can't block them.
